Day 73

Updated: Apr 18, 2018

What's your story? Tell it. Write it down. Today. Only you can do it justice.

Day 73: What a day we’ve been given. It is March 14, PI day for the math enthusiasts and the pie enthusiasts. I was planning to tell you a PI joke: The roundest knight in King Arthur’s court was Sir Cumference. He ate too much pi.

But, it is also the day after the world learned of Stephen Hawking’s death at 76–an example of perseverance and the limitless power of the mind.

It is also National Write Your Story Day.

And, it is the day thousands of US children marched peacefully to call attention to the safety crisis in our country’s schools.

Yesterday, I mentioned the need for us to try, or dabble in, something new. We should all be writing our stories.

Hawking could only use the flexing of a finger and eye movements to write his story.

The youth of the US wrote their story today with marching feet.

For those taken from this world, it is left to us to tell their stories; a task that is never as good as when told firsthand.

What’s your story? Tell it. Write it down. Today. Only you can do it justice. #MomsCompanyTowels #writeyourstory #tellyourstory
