Day 362: When I was growing up, Christmas break had to include a read-what-you-like day. No homework. Just fun. I received a book from my parents every Christmas. Mom laughed that the book never made it to the new year. I read it in the first two days. Mom’s tradition continued with our children: Something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. Only, these days, my grownup kiddos give me the books - or this lovely bracelet they just gave me. I’m sure the charm that reads “Careful, or you’ll end up in my novel” is meant to be funny, but you have no idea just how true it is. 😉 #momscompanytowels #somethingtoread #amwriting #novelrevenge
