Day 307

Day 307: Whenever there was a decision to be made, my mother would suggest making a “Pros and Cons” list. The term comes from the Latin prefixes of “for” and “against.” Mom used to say both sides should always be considered. Decision-making has always been hard for me, and she knew the Pro/Con thing would help.

I still make the lists, even though, in the end, there’s really only one question to be asked: Does it drag me down? Or lift me up? Because you know what they say - whatever is dragging you down, is already beneath you.
