Day 298

Day 298: We had many occasions to call to someone from across the farmyard or from across a field. Mom was adamant that instead of “hollering” it was best to “yoo hoo.” It was her Milo version of yodeling. Her voice went up high, and seemed to get louder than if she just tried to yell. I thought it was funny when the email provider Yahoo! started up their business. Apparently, they think it’s a better way to reach people, too. Hollering is so passé.
