Day 293: How old were you when you first realized there could be problems in life?
My first memory of this concept was the first time I rode my bicycle without training wheels and fell onto our freshly graveled driveway/farmyard. Little bike tires don’t move through deep gravel very well.
As I sat on the bathroom counter while Mom used tweezers to remove the embedded gravel from my knees, I realized life could be problematic. And when she swabbed my knees with Merthiolate, I knew that life could sting.
