Day 246

Day 246: Happy Labor Day! It is the day set aside to remember the people who built our world by the sweat of their brow; the factory workers who revolutionized production of all that we consume; and the builders whose hard work built bridges to the future for all of mankind.

I’m celebrating by preparing a new group of study abroad students for departure. Sure, I’m at work on a holiday, but I’m sitting in a lovely, modern, air-conditioned building that other people worked really hard to build. So, here’s to the folks who built our nation!
