Day 169

Day 169: It’s Monday Mullday in my Towel World. Mondays are weird. It’s a new beginning. A fresh start. Yet, for some reason, I usually get the Sunday Evening Blues.

Sure, life isn’t easy. There may be some big impending dilemma in my life, or a deadline at work, but even when there’s not, I’m still spending most Mulldays pulling up my big girl pants in order to move onward.

On Mondays like this, I think about my mother. She was experienced at pulling up her big girl pants to deal with setbacks and dilemmas. And she usually did it with a smile.

Therefore, today I am concentrating on an anonymous quote that makes me smile: “Nobody ever injured their eyesight by looking on the bright side.” That’s good to know, because my eyesight is already a bit sketchy.
