Day 164: One of the things I loved about my dad was his quiet advice. More than once he said to me “Nobody ever got any good out of being a Negative Nelly.” In our household, Nelly was also attributed as being Nervous. I felt kinda bad for her. But Dad was right. Not much good comes from negativity.

Author Ann Bradford is quoted as saying “Tell the negative committee that meets inside your head to sit down and shut up.” She pegged me! I totally have a boardroom of Negative Nellies meeting in my head most days.
