Day 112

Dear Earth, even though we pronounce you Irth when it should be ear-th, we are grateful for you. Without you, where would we be? And thanks for spinning so that I don't notice. I get a bit sick on spinning rides. And don't listen to Pluto. It's the planet envy talking. Thanks for the lodging! Enjoy your day! Love, Me.

Day 112: This week of EYE CONTACT ends with Earth Day. What a blessing to spend our days on a planet so spectacularly beautiful.

The male protagonist in The Makeup Girl is an actor who’s become accustomed to people looking AT him rather than making eye contact with him. And when the female protagonist does, he doesn’t know how to feel about the “contact” part of eye contact.

In the book I’m writing now, the female protagonist goes out of her way to avoid making eye contact because it causes her some physical complications. In fact, eye contact just may be the topic of the opening line. (That’s what I’m calling a tease.)

In the real world, whether we enjoy the complications of eye contact with our fellow earthlings or not, we can all enjoy the beauty of our home planet. Happy Earth Day! Pay attention to the beauty there is to SEE today! #MomsCompanyTowels #EarthDay #EyeContact
