Why am I always being taken by surprise by these national days? It's been mayhem at my house in the last few weeks, and I simply need to get my act together and look ahead, because today was #NationalWearYourPJsToWorkDay and here I am, sitting at my desk, wearing regular work clothing. What a rip!
While I admit that I did some medical transcription in my PJs in the comfort of my own home a few years back, I can't say that I've ever celebrated this day by wearing PJs to the workplace. I might get some funny looks. It would be hard to make EYE CONTACT with the person sitting across from my desk while I sported my favorite sleepwear. Don't get me wrong. There would be nothing too dicey going on. My pajama choices range from the schlumpy to the frumpy, but even then, maybe it's for the best that I didn't wear them to work. However, you can bet that when I get home today, I'm changing into PJs. I thought I should warn you, in case you decide to knock on my door and I answer in yoga pants and an old Hang Loose Oahu tee shirt, because it could happen.
